Hasnain, an eminent Scientist and, till recently, the Vice Chancellor, University of Hyderabad.
Dr. Talat Ahmad has rather exceptional distinction of being a fellow of all the Science Academies of the Country: the Indian National Science Academy (FNA), New Delhi; the Indian Academy of Sciences, (FASc); and the National Academy of Sciences, (FNASc). Dr. Ahmad did his Masters in Geology from the Aligarh Muslim University, M. Phil (in Ore Petrology-Geochemistry) and Doctorate from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Dr. Ahmad has also been a Post Doctoral Fellow with three foreign Universities viz.
